ORDERLY FASHION: I like my clubs to be in the bag in a specific order. Top left: driver, 3-wood; middle left: 2-, 3- and 4-irons; lower left: 5-, 6-, and 7-irons; lower right: 8- and 9-irons, pitching wedge; middle right: sand and lob wedges; top right: putter. Always. I've been doing it all my life, and it never changes. Probably the only thing picky about me, I guess.

SOCCER DUDE: I'm a big soccer fan, especially of Real Madrid in Spain. I've played a little golf with its star Ronaldo, and I even got to play a little soccer against him. It was only about 15 minutes, but I really enjoyed it.

ODDS AND ENDS: I carry a lighter, but I don't smoke. I use it to melt down the frayed ends of the golf bag straps. I also carry a little Spanish flag and a two-dollar U.S. bill for good luck.

DRIVER
I'm using a TaylorMade r7 425, 9.5 degrees (bent to 9.0) with a TaylorMade Fujikura RE.AX 105 TP shaft, X-flex, tipped one-half inch, 43.75 inches long. All my grips are Golf Pride New Decade MultiCompound with two layers of tape.

3-WOOD
I started using the TaylorMade r7 TP fairway wood in the middle of last year. It's 15 degrees (bent to 13.5) with a RE.AX 105 TP shaft, X-flex, tipped one inch. The shaft is 42 inches long.

IRONS
I've used TaylorMade rac Forged irons the last three years, 2-iron through pitching wedge. All my irons have True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 steel shafts.

WEDGES
My pitching wedge and sand wedge are TaylorMade rac (the SW is 50 degrees bent to 52). I use the 58-degree Titleist/Vokey Design lob wedge around the greens.

PUTTER
I use the TaylorMade Rossa Monza Corza with the AGSI grooves. It's a larger mallet style than I started my career with, but I think it has helped my stroke.

SEEING RED
This neckerchief is from a wedding of a couple of friends, one who's from Pamplona. It's like what they wear when they run with the bulls.

DENTAL PLAN
I keep these fake teeth in the bag for when I need a laugh. I bring them out for the pro-am.

NECESSITIES
I try to keep my energy up during the round by eating nuts and several pieces of fruit. I also drink Amino Vital. I carry a roll of tape for blisters, too.

ZERO SUM
I've switched to the new TaylorMade Tour Preferred Red ball. I usually carry nine balls, always 0s, and I have the ball stamped with this little creature I saw in Japan.

EL TORO
These headcovers (a black bull for the driver and a brown bull for the 3-wood) remind me of my home in Spain.

MARK DOWN
I use a different foreign coin to mark my ball every round, and I repair pitch marks with these tools I got at the Dunlop Phoenix event.
